I am so disgusted. I am so not amused. I am frankly SHOCKED. (again)
This article on Bikram shines the same old light that “cult of crass”. It’s all the same, but worse. Click here to read the full article in Details magazine about the Bikram teacher training under the big top. Maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. Here’s a photo I took of Bikram in 2000 at his pool during my own teacher training experience. But I don’t need to tell you about that. you can hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. None of this is new behavior for “The Boss” (shudder) is new but it does seem to be escalating. How long can this go on? I am sure the backlash is coming.

yes, sometimes i think you can’t put the ‘spiritually advanced’ on a pedestal, otherwise hollywood seems to take over… but bikram yoga is good, the heat, the repetition, and consistency of those who attend…
i’m sure you are a shining teacher and those that come to your classes will put aside the silliness of gurus doesn’t change the wonderfulness of the practice!
Bikram is not “spiritually advanced” and no one can build a pedestal for him higher than the one he has built already! “Silliness of Gurus?” I wonder, did you read the article?
